Created for Connection Marriage and Family Relationshio Enrichement Weekend
During the Created for Connection weekend, couples learn what healthy communication looks like and how to implement it. They also learn how to have a healthy connection using the three prongs to a healthy connection. We also dive into difficult topics like rebuilding trust, conflict resolution, forgiveness and more. Everything we teach comes from a Biblical foundation, evidence based practices as well as from our 32 years of being married. The event usually is 1 1/2 -2 hours on Friday night and 3-4 hours on Saturday. Then we can also speak in the service on Sunday about being created for connection to God and others, using some of the same prinicples for our relationship with God and others in our world.
Discipleship Training
We have developed a training for churches, communities, districts or other groups who are interested in learning how to disciple others. Our training is based on the following 5 pillars of effective discipleship: Fervent Prayer, Compassionate Outreach, Comprehensive Biblical Learning, Intentional Mentoring and Equipping, and Authentic Relationships. It is fun and interactive and offers practical implementation of the tools and tips learned throughout our time together. We have shared this with several districts and churches and can adapt it to the time frame that fits best.

Created for God’s Kingdom Purpose
This spiritual renewal emphasis can either be a Friday evening, Saturday morning, Saturday evening and Sunday morning or it can be a Sunday through a Wednesday. When we look at our world, the desperate need for hope and purpose, we understand that our calling to bring the answer of Jesus is urgent. In this seminar we learn how to be “All In”. Focusing on Luke 4:16-19 and 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 we learn about the need to proclaim the Good News and to be used by Jesus to set the captives free.
Family Camps, Kids & Teen Camps, Pastoral Team Retreats
We love speaking at camps and retreats. We bring a unique and fun way of presenting the gospel that reaches all age groups. We use gospel illusions, drama and other creative ways to bring the Bible to life. We work with the directors of the camp to provide messages that fit the needs and theme of the camps we speak at. In addition to speaking, we enjoy serving and building relationships during our time at camp.
For our time speaking at pastoral team retreats we bring a variety of information and experiences. We have served in pastoral ministry for 30 years as well as our experience in marriage and family therapy. We have a passion for loving, supporting and encouraging pastors and their families.
God has called us to make this ministry available to everyone, therefore we do not charge. Instead, we ask that churches receive a free-will offering for our ministry and provide a place for us to park our motorhome while we are there with you.
Outreach Events
We partner together with churches that are seeking to reach out to their neighborhood, community, and world. We use balloon animals, face painting, music, and gospel illusions as a way to connect with people who would not normally come to church. We can do this at the church, in a parking lot, at a park, or wherever the church wants to reach out.
One of our biggest and best received outreach event is called, “Unbreakable Families”. This includes a Friday fun night including gospel magic, music, games and more. Saturday we offer workshops on relationships, parenting and more. There is a “menu” you can choose from. Then Sunday we do an intergenerational and interactive worship service.
